I just received this email from a ministry that focuses primarily upon healing. Read it over and then I will weigh in just a bit on it.

Nice stuff I guess. Stinks for that guy who died yesterday from cancer I guess. I know the church he attended prayed and asked God for healing but no luck for him. I would suspect that if I were diagnosed with end stage cancer today that this email would affect me differently. But I also suspect that the temptation if I were to believe it would be to hope this “deluge” he is speak about would happen really quickly.
Problem with this? Yes, very much. It is the typical failure to understand the fact that in this age sin, sickness and death reign. Jesus did not come to remove these things from this age. He did not come to redeem this age. It is a fallen age and it is not going to change. This is why the bible speaks of the time when Christ returns and makes the new heavens and earth. Revelation 21 speaks to this event and it comes after Satan, death and Hades are cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20). Until they are gone and until Jesus recreates this universe cancer is here to stay.
This is why in 2 Corinthians 5 and 1 Corinthians 15 Paul speaks of the hope of the resurrection. Our bodies are part of the fallen age, which is why even healed people get old and die eventually. The body is a tent that is being worn out. But at the resurrection we are given a new body, an eternal dwelling that not longer suffers under the curse of sin. I find myself often shaking my head when these healers come out at proclaim things like this email does.
But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory. “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” (1 Corinthians 15:54-55)
Notice the temporal statement here. “When” we take up our new body which is imperishable, “then” (and not before then) we can say that death is swallowed up in victory and death no longer has its sting. But beloved, until then, you and I will weep more than once as we feel that sting of death. This is why we are to say with the Apostle John, “Come, Lord Jesus” (Revelation 22:20).
So set your calendars for a year from now and let’s see how good of a prophecy this is. Seriously, set it.

Just in time, I nearly called the quack hotline.
Well, I actually set my calendar to check up on this guy in one year. Should be interesting.
Respectfully I wouldnt refer to David E. Taylor as some guy, Hes G-d guy as are many others who would dare to believe that The Father wants his people healed this has been the heart of G-d since before He sent redemption through Jesus Christ. When the church stands up and is made perfect and complete in the will of G-d it will experience the reighn of G-d above every counterfeit. I believe the word of G-d and I believe the man of G-d because he speaks the word not his opinion, try listeneng and actually recieving the revelation instead of criticizing finding fault and , discrediting the messenger but oh yea thats always been the heart of the sadducees ,pharasees and the like I pray the mind of Christ be upon us all and the demonstration of The True and existent Power of God manifest before YOUR eyes then just maybe u will know that God was among us praying the word of the Lord be your light and lamp sister Lolita
And Oh Yea I will be not just watching but participating in this move of God as Elijah stated lets see whos G-d is G-d so Ill see you in a year, and prayerfully you will have a different perspective,
Lolita: First of all, writing God as G-d accomplishes nothing and has no scriptural basis. Second, to say that God wants his people healed begs for clear verses that would declare that healing is the normative reality for God’s people. Reality and scripture actually say otherwise.
I did listen to his mass email and don’t try to get me to believe that a mass email sent out by one of his assistants equals revelation. It doesn’t. But hey, we don’t have to argue over it. Just mark your calendars for a year from that email and we can see together if cancer is gone. I mean, as you said yourself, he is God’s (sorry, G-d) guy so it must be true.
But when it is shown to be not true will you stand and declare him to be what he really is? An arrogant charlatan lying to people and taking their money in the name of God? Will you reject his foolish message and instead look only to the Word to hear our Lord?
If in a year cancer is abolished through this man I will publicly repent. but I know it is a safe promise. He is simply in the long line of other liars before him.
And yes, let’s see what happens just like Elijah. It will be fun.
I sense a bit of sarcasm at my CHOICE to write out God as G-d my personal preference Thank You and yes my dear we shall see the end of the matter but I dont believe it will take an entire year to manifest .. will there be sickness? yes will there be evil? yes will there be healings? yes will there be deliverance from evil? yes.. I know where my salvation has come from and it is not from Apostle David Taylor my salvation is from the Lord my confidence is in Him not man, so whoever The Father chooses to use to bring revelation mystery authority and dominion through I celebrate , we must test the spirits to see if they are of G-d Im not ignorant of HIs word I hear and I see, The spirit of G-d works through this man as He does through so many other men and women called to restore the bodyto its original mandate, ultimetly Dominion,with Love in Love and through Love, The body must become the bride, but she needs to be prepared for marriage there is a requirement, do u really think she will get there in her present state ,we need much more than talk, criticismdansing down the isles and out the door into the same sin that awaits us we need to be restored,wouldnt you agree? Are you serious (let’s just forget God’s a healer and that he came as a redeemer to redeem the world yes as the world will grow darker but don’t not point out that God will grow brighter. I dont find anything wrong with that email, I do believe God is going to pour out on us and heal us, what’s wrong with that, as a pastor your supposed to bring hope , ….not Cancer is going to stay in us and we are going to die no matter what?? God is greater and he is a healer yes many die with cancer but many that have reached out to God have been healed im not to judge how why or when he wants to do it, but to say he wont or to quickly say go wont pour out in deluge is to assume you know God’s entire will for this earth.
And know that your opinions are actually hindering others from even going to the meetings or on the call, and that’s evident in what Bruce says “thanks because I almost called this quack hotline” are you that sure of what you are saying, because I don’t know about you but I fear God and I would be hesistant to say these things because you might be fighting against God and you are polluting others mind to be biased and yet you yourself do not have any proof of what you are saying. We are supposed to lift each other up right? We are all brothers and Sister in Christ we should not be this divided. Instead of posting this on the internet why not Call the Man personally if you have a fault against him don’t just blast him on blog.

That’s what the Kingdom brings. “On earth as it is in heaven.” Why would he tell us to pray that, if he knew it were a joke on earth ? Just because you are powerless doesn’t mean he wants Gods people to go around saying they are too spiritual to want God to heal anyone because, after all, we are just trying to survive in this fallen nature.
