To Lent or Not Lent?

Well, I had planned on doing a post on the nature of Lent and why I had no desire to practice it.  I also planned on commenting on how many “cool” churches were emphasizing it.  And then I realized that I didn’t need to because this person already wrote everything I would have written.  Read it, enjoy it, and think about it.

Regardless of the words of the words of the poster of the blog about Lent, whether he is correct in his thinking or not, his blog was overlaid with an ungodly attitude I would not wish to follow. He was loud and pompous and bragadocious, everything opposite of our Lord’s posture about Himself as the Son of God. the author’s attitude was so loud, one would miss the point.

    • I am curious about where you saw a “loud and pompous and bragadocious” voice in what you read. Also, the author is a woman.
